First, I'm thankful I sustained no heavy injuries, but let me get onto my rant.

Was on my way back from my school to my hostel about 2am in the morning or so, but once past the Chinatown gate close to the Jack Chow Insurance building found in Vancouver Chinatown, I got stalled by 3 robbers, 1 stalled me, another held in a stranglehold from the back, all 3 dragged me into an alley, pinned me down to the ground, dragged me across a brick wall section was I struggled to get free, and got robbed of what I had on me then, had my left thumb cut and my head bruised.

Most important lost item was probably my wallet, which carried the recently drawn cash I needed to pay my rent and the school fees for my 2nd year in VANarts, totaling a loss of over CAD$1000. Not only was my Debit Card and Bank Card were stolen, and my IDs were taken away as well.

Not only has this situation rendered me financially helpless at the moment, what's worse is that I can't pay my rent and school fees as well.

What was even more infuriating was that there were other civilians in the area, and despite my cries for help, everyone treated it as if nothing happened.

Immediately making a police report after that when heading back towards the direction of VANarts where the Police were present, I filed a police report, but nothing much can be done. That much I understand, but I just hope that my ID cards can at least be retrieved somehow. After retrieving a newer pair of glasses, since the one I wore then got destroyed in the struggle, and a knife, I headed back to the crime scene, finding only what was left of my old glasses and a cable that they dropped.

Present priority has to go to disabling all cash related cards I have on that wallet

This... absolutely... sucks... The timing for which this robbery took place is really bad, considering that I have only 19 active days left in VANarts, and such a thing had to happen.

Its kind of regrettable that I had to update this journal under such a circumstance, but I hope you guys understand, I needed to get that out my chest. Writing all that out made me feel a bit better about it, but I'm still kinda furious about it, having being hit with the brunt end of the stick.

I guess I should count myself lucky though, since I'm still in one piece. Gotta find a way to settle this problem without causing further damage though... somehow.

Gah... Nothing much else to say... hope what can be salvaged out of the situation can go well.
